Hi guys, Josh Bowmar here from Bowmar Bowhunting and Bowmar Archery!

Today, I am sharing one of Sarah’s recipes for ‘Venison Queso’. This recipe is so fun because you can add whatever you want into it. We eat venison all year round and we love to get creative with our recipes to make sure we’re getting all the use out of what we have that we can. Whatever we hunt, we feed to our family, or donate to people who need it.

Sarah Bowmar’s Venison Queso

Ingredients:

  • 4 pounds ground venison – browned
  • 24oz Velveeta block – sliced
  • 1 white onion – chopped
  • 1 jar sliced jalapenos

Instructions:

  • In a crockpot, add all four ingredients. Cook on low for two to three hours. Check and stir as needed, and enjoy!

I thought it would be fun to do a different type of post then I normally would to give you some ideas for how to use all that delicious venison you’ll be getting when you use the Bowmar Nose Button! Remember to follow us on Instagram @bowmarbowhunting and @bowmar_archery for hunting (and even cooking) tips like these. We are also doing a HUGE giveaway on our Bowmar Bowhunting YouTube channel once we reach 200k subscribers. One person will win a 6 day African safari hunt. You can enter by subscribing to the Bowmar Bowhunting YouTube channel, and liking and commenting on all of our past videos.

We appreciate all of your support more than we can express! Let us know if you try this queso recipe and what you think! We’d also like to see your own take on this recipe, so get to cooking! Get creative and have fun. That’s always our goal here at Bowmar Archery and Bowmar Bowhunting.
