Hi guys, Josh Bowmar here from Bowmar Archery and Bowmar Bowhunting.

Today I am going to give you guys a quick bow tuning tip. This is my go-to process for when I am trying to super tune my bow. I also shared this tip over on my Tik Tok, @bowmarbowhunting. Be sure to check it out!

This tip is for all of you that tune your own bow! Whenever I am super tuning my bow, I always start with a bare shaft at 25 yards. I will shoot until my arrow hits the target perfectly straight. I make adjustments according to how they hit the target.

If the arrow tails right, I adjust my rest to the left.

If the arrow tails left, I adjust my rest to the right.

If the arrow hits nock high, I actually raise my rest, and then I do the opposite if it hits nock low. I do this process until my arrow is hitting the target perfectly straight.

Whenever I can shoot a bare shaft and a normal arrow stacked on top of each other as shown in this picture, that is when I move on. This picture is exactly what you want. You can see that my arrows are perfectly straight.

When I made this Tik Tok, I was getting ready for my Alaskan bear hunt. I made two Bowmar Bowhunting YouTube videos where I went over my entire bow setup. Don’t forget to check out my Bowmar Bowhunting Tik Tok!

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick tuning tip and that you find it helpful for the upcoming hunting seasons.
